I wouldn't have even minded if she had said that she had made a mistake and apologised. Yannick tried to make out that there had been some misunderstanding but the thing that really irritated me was how Krissele stood there saying that she had not said that.basically accusing us of lying. I am not confrontational and didn't really want to talk about it as by that time it had already passed. When the boat arrived back both her and Yannick met us off of the boat and tried to get us into a conversation about what had happened in front of lots of other guests on the beach. I reminded her this was not what she had promised but she made some lame excuse and basically made out we made this up. I asked the skipper to enquire if we could return earlier as promised but Krissele then said we could return early but would get no refund. After dolphin swimming and whale watching I was freezing and was wrapped in towels and a jumper. She said if when you're on the boat you just want to do whale watching and dolphins swimming that's fine they will bring you back and you will only pay for how long you have been out for, She made this assurance on several occasions not just on the day before we went. I asked if when we were on the boat would they bring us back if we wanted to do a shorter day and she assured us that would be fine and our money would be partly refunded (she even told us how much money we would have to pay for two hours, four hours etc). Krissele assured us that we could change our trip at any time and even when we were on the trip. I tried to put my gut feeling that she was lying out of my head and concentrate on enjoying the trip, She even asked when we were flying out and when I said Monday she replied with oh we could do it on Tuesday but not before. I think she hadn't told us the truth and we couldn't really change to another day. I said that was odd given that we had only been away for a few hours and I felt that this wasn't truthful. When we returned she said the alternative dates had been booked up. She said the trip could be moved to another day, giving us two alternatives, but said to come back in a couple of hours to confirm. The day before the trip we went to see her as the forecast wasn't looking great. We even commented to each other how flexible they seemed to be. She said we could even cut our trip short on the day and pay less - nothing was a problem. Krissele assured us that we could move the trip to another day if the weather didn't look good. With it being so expensive we asked a lot of questions prior to going and especially regarding the weather which is really changeable. We booked through a lady at sugar beach called Krissele (I think). This trip was really expensive (around £350 for the two of us) but being our honeymoon we felt it was worth the splurge. It is the way in which it is sold that I have issue with and it really ruined our experience. We loved the dolphin swimming and whale watching. I would like to say the crew of the boat were fabulous and so was the boat itself. I'm writing the review whilst still as the hotel as its been bothering me so much for the last few days. ![]() That’s all from me.First of all let me say that we only ever post positive reviews but felt compelled to write a review about our experience when we privately hired the game fisher for a day out which included dolphin swimming, whale watching, snorkelling and a trip to an island. Notice the guy in red getting ready to run to their help.Īnd rescuing them while the others gathered to watch: ![]() The way they dived into the sea was quite sudden and probably dangerous too. They missed the landing platform, probably because the boat skipper has not properly calculated the safe distance required for a perfect landing.Īs you can see below, one of the guys on the platform grabbed the man’s leg to pull him: The couple preparing to “land” after their approximately 2 minutes ride off the ground sea. At the same time, I had my camera in hand, armed with my Tamron 70-300mm.Ī few of my shots to describe the incident: On a sea platform, at some hundred of meters from the beach, some people were waiting for their turn to have a parachute ride. ![]() To make the most of this sunny Sunday, Dhaneesha and myself drove to Belle Mare where we had some fried noodles before relaxing below on the beach. Fortunately, it won’t but I brought some pictures for you. The incident I witnessed today could have turned into the news headlines of tomorrow.
